Project Good News Brazil, (PGNB) began in 1998. Gordon
And Annie Avey, cross cultural ministers with the
Churches of God, General Conference were asked to come
to the aid of a small strugglingchurch in Araraquara in the state
of Sao Paulo. Believing this was an open door to a church
planting ministry, Cross Cultural Ministries of CGGC approved
the project. Since that humble beginning, God has brought
together a talented and visionary team of Brazilian leaders
through whom has been ignited a church planting movement
